Richmond’s Station Domination
For the past couple of years, we’ve been designing St. Catherine’s School’s catalog for their popular summer program, Cat’s CAP. This year, things are a bit different as Cat’s CAP is now part of an expanded summer program called Brilliant Summer. It will continue to offer all of the greatness the community has come to expect, but now with even more offerings from sports and dance to academic enrichment courses. As always, it was a pleasure working with the folks over at St. Catherine’s School and the result was a beautiful and newly designed catalog (with spot gloss varnished cover!).
We had the exciting opportunity to work with Rutherfoord on their 2009 Year in Review. Rutherfoord continues to grow as one of the nation’s largest insurance brokerage and risk management firms. The theme for the publication was “beyond borders” and our objective was to highlight Rutherfoord’s strength in venturing beyond the familiar – removing barriers, uncovering opportunities, opening possibilities and taming risk on behalf of their clients.

For Halloween this year, we decided to carry on the theme of school dances (last year was J H I Prom of ‘85) and throw a sock hop! Our kitchen area was transformed into a 50’s diner complete with jukebox and… ELVIS. Enough said.

Celebrations is St. Catherine’s annual newsletter which highlights the various achievements of the graduating class and celebrates the end of the school year. More pics after the jump, enjoy!
I absolutely adore this fun and clever campaign promoting a library in Kansas City, MO. Nothing makes me happier than beautiful, smart design paired with a good story.

The desert was expansive and the landscape idyllic even if it was composed of mainly dirt, rocks, and cacti. I appreciated the calming effect it had on me, in a way foreshadowing what would be a relaxed and rustic experience during the next 4 days.

Whether you’re a fan of the Cardinals, Steelers, or simply didn’t care to pick sides, if you watched Sunday’s game you probably experienced a barrage of commercials. In my opinion, many of the commercials this year were not as successful as I hoped and failed to grab my attention, but there were a few (very few) that stood out and made me laugh out loud. These were simple and humorous. It takes smarts to be funny.
Jemie liked the 3-D commericals. Here’s a before and after shot. Partying can take its toll.

We just completed a brand new website for our friends at Lewis Media Partners. We work closely with them on a variety of projects but this time they became our client! They are a very friendly and professional team and it was a pleasure creating this fresh new site for them. Check them out at www.LewisMediaPartners.com!
RichmondInsideOut.com is a great website we designed for the Richmond Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau to help promote our lovely city. It’s a place where locals can share their insider insights on the best places to go, best places to eat and best things about living, working and hanging out in RVA. So check it out and more importantly, post, post, post!
